Catalytic Oxidation of Styrene over Vanadium Modified SBA15

Vanadium complexes modified mesoporous molecular catalysts were prepared by impregnation and hydrothermal method respectively, and then characterized by XRD,N2 adsorptiondesorption(BET) and FTIR techniques. The results show that both the catalyst samples with impregnation and hydrothermal methods kept mesoporous structure well and vanadium oxide were dispersed uniformly in mesoporous materials. The catalytic performance was evaluated by the oxidation styrene to benzaldehyde, and found that the conversion can reach 76.3%, and selectively to benzaldehyde is 86.7% under optimum conditions.
